To Blog or Not to Blog
Sometimes blogs get a bad rap...I've heard it all. True anyone can do it, and some may post inaccurate information, but hey, isn't that what they said about the internet when it first arrived at our cyberdoorstep.
Of course there are rules, plagiarism being the number one issue for proficient writers/bloggers, but after doing a good amount of research on the subject and discussing the pros and cons on a recent blogging panel at the New Orleans Tennessee Williams Festival, I feel confident that blogging can improve your writing skills and offers a forum for sharing valuable information. A perfect platform to post your craft, whether it be writing or art, just be creative and let it flow.
So join us in posting your comments, and joining the group. Some of you may remember our past blog at www.northshoreliterarysociety.blogspot.com, and although it's a very attractive site, there were some issues in posting comments.
Having a blog in the same neighborhood as the website will hopefully generate more traffic. So give it a whirl.
